I currently have a BMO Mastercard that gives a tiered 1% cashback. My other card is the old AMEX Gold Rewards that gave 2% cashback and extended warranties. Unfortunately, AMEX decided to tack on a $99 annual fee to the card and it's no longer worth my while to use it. I'm looking for some suggestions on what card(s) to switch to. Most of my regular CC purchases are things like groceries and gas and whatever bills allow me to pay with a CC. I expect that I might be buying some furniture this summer and perhaps also a new car (part of which I'll be putting on a CC). What cards should I look at? I know that the MBNA SC card is quite popular here, but are there any other cards I should be considering?
