Hi. I left a job with a pension and am choosing to move it to a self-directed locked-in RSP. I can't take this money out until I'm 55, and even then, only a bit at a time.
I have about 16 years to go. What should I do. I've talked to some bankers, and they are dull with their suggestions. Stocks, bonds and mutual funds.
I know there's other choices out there, they don't want to talk about these. Eg Mortgage investment corporations, issuing myself a mortgage, etc.
Looking for advice. What are some investment vehicles out there other than the ones mentioned above that are RSP eligible? Thanks.
