Quick question, tried googling it but google blows at providing relevant results sometimes.
Im trying to open a Questrade account, they want an "attested" photocopy of my license/ID signed by one of the following:
· Dentist, medical doctor or chiropractor
· Judge, magistrate or lawyer
· Notary (in Quebec) or notary public
· Optometrist or pharmacist
· Accredited public accountant (APA), chartered accountant (CA), certified general accountant (CGA), certified management accountant (CMA), public accountant (PA) or registered public accountant (RPA)
· Professional engineer (P. Eng., in a province other than Quebec) or engineer (Eng. in Quebec)
· Veterinarian
· Commissioner of oaths
Since NONE of these apply to me other than a doctor, dentist and pharmacist, im not going to create an appointment simply for them to sign a piece of paper.
Does anyone know if VirtualBrokers or any other online trading websites request this kind of silliness?
Edit: This is for a margin account.
