I am not a person that makes impulse purchases. In fact, hardly ever. And I don't even know this is considered an impulse purchase?
I am talking about a lottery ticket for the 'Heart and Stroke lottery. I just bought a ticket for $100. And as if that wasn't bad enough, they had an optional 50/50 draw and I bought another 5 tickets for $25.
Prizes are great and probably easier to win than a real lottery. But then again, I paid a big amount for it compared to what I would pay for an OLG lottery ticket.
But I think I will take comfort in knowing that some of the money will go towards medical research.
The early bird for the 50/50 is Feb 4th, wish me luck.....
Curious if anyone has bought any of these charity lotteries before and if you won anything? Princess Margaret, Heart and Stroke, CNIB etc...
