Last month I sold and purchased a home (in Ontario). After TD screwed me and I lost my locked in rate, I looked everywhere for a mortgage option that worked with my particular situation. I contacted 2 brokers, went into 2 branches, and dealt with PC and ING online to see what was offered. Everything I found was either too complicated, or too in-flexible. I was one day away from signing up for a traditional mortgage - although not what I wanted, it was the best I could find (and something I understood).

I saw some intriguing posts by laptop-tech and shot him a quick email asking a couple simple questions.
