CIBC may cut ties with Aeropeso

A number of news stories are out that CIBC may not renew with Aimia, for Aeropeso points. It'll be purely a business decision. CIBC does not have monopoly for CC with Aeropeso (Amex also has ties).

So if CIBC cuts the ties, RBC is ready to woo customers with their Avion, and other CCs too.
