Not eligible for WITB but TurboTax keeps adding it.

Hi folks,
First timer here; hoping I can have some clarification on this issue.

Here's my situation: I'm on longterm disability and part of the employment's LTD benefits is that my employer, McGill, contributes my part into the pension fund (essentially they contribute 100%). To offset this they mark this as revenue and is marked as such on my T4, box 14. So, for example, on a total 3000$ contribution into McGill's PP, 1500 is marked as revenue on my T4.
Here's where it gets annoying; I use TurboTax (also tried UFile, same thing) and by inserting the amount from Box 14, this triggers the WITB which bumps my refund by 150$. There is a page where I can disallow the claim but the software disregards it.

McGill says they're not sure if i have to claim the amount as revenue.
2 Rev Can agents are not familiar with this scenario and suggest i claim it anyways. When i ask them what happens if Rev Can comes back in 5 years requesting I return the amounts they simply said, I can write a cheque. Grrreeeat :/

Might anyone amongst you know w/ certainly if:
1-I must calim the contribution as revenue and
2- should I go ahead and claim, or not, the WITB.

many thanks.
