I like the new layout, it's a good improvement over just showing how much I owe on my house.
Has any one made lump sump/pre payments online yet? I think I was playing around with the screens and it looked like you still needed to call in. This might have been because it was the weekend the last time I checked how to make the payment online. Anyhow making lump sum payments is usually the only reason that I go to the bank tellers these days... everything else I enjoy doing online.
One of the features I enjoy that some may find funny but I was honestly unable to find out before is how much room I had left to make lump sum payments. During my first year of owning my home I was fairly close to maxing out on this amount and the clerks at TD had to grab a calculator to see if I was going to go over or not. I realize this is a first world problem and most clients never faced this issue but it's good to see the change.
I also enjoy seeing how many more years I have on my amortization period as I have been aggresively paying off my house. For owning my house for under 2 years already having over 30% paid for and down to under 14 years left to pay off my mortgage.
One more built in feature that is probably in the works that would be nice is a built in mortgage calculator that gets filled in automatically with my current data that you can play around with to see what making a lump sum payment would do to your mortgage and other calculators that could show the effect of renewal rate on the mortgage. I realize these are easy calculators that you can put in your own data and I believe TD currently has a link on EasyWeb that takes you off the main Mortgage page to these calculators but again it would just be a nice add on touch to have it automatically put in to show the cause and effect of any type of alteration.
Anyhow this is just my 2 cents on this matter, and I apologize if this was recently brought up as I didn't check to far back in the forums about it.
Cheers,
