Best exchange rate to transfer money to India

I am looking to send some Cad to India in one transaction. Western Union and Moneygram has limits on the amount we send in 1 day, approx 2-3K. Wire transfer from bank is costly and the exchange rate is worse.
Where can I find the best rates, with the minimum commission.
