I am an IT contractor and was wondering if I can use a personal account for business?
I am incorporated.
I get paid via wire transfers twice a month (BMO charges $14 for each wire transfer in)
I only need to write myself a cheque once a month and remit payroll and GST to CRA.
I opened up a BMO Business account, but the charges are crazy. They want fees for everything - deposits, withdrawals, cheques ($125 for 200)..
My question is can I open an account with PCF under my name and just use that?
What are my options?
