hey RFD.. trying to help my friend out in understanding the financial impact/implications of the situation she is in.
she lives with a friend, they split the rent cost (she pays a bit more). both are lease holders. situation is that the friend has been paying her rent late, they had one eviction notice that she knew about and now a 2nd which she was not aware of until she ran into the landlord.
question is that can the fact that her room mate is paying the rent late affect her credit rating as well, or would it just impact her friends? I am not familiar with this type of situation.. if there is more information I need to get from her let me know.
