Hi all,
I recently purchased a 2nd rental property (student rental) and when I went to TD to add the property to my policy, they advised me that they won't insure a property that has more than 2 non-related residents living together. In my case it's a 4bdrm rental rented to a group of 4 friends who jointly sign one lease. Then, they gave me notice that they won't cover my existing property as of Mar 31!
Could any landlords out there refer me to an insurance company that would insure a rental property (in particular, student rental?)
Thanks.
Ryan
