I need to wire money into my TD account, but I will be out of the country for a few weeks. The money has to be in my account right away, because I have some bills to pay that will automatically be withdrawn from that account before I return. I was wondering if the bank will ask me to come into my TD branch to sign for the wire before clearing it and depositing the money into my account. I'll be wiring the money from Asia. In the past when I wired money from my TD account to my account in Asia, the bank in Asia would always make me sign for it in person before clearing the wire to be deposited. Do I need to sign for a wire on the receiving side for it to be cleared? Thanks in advance for any replies.
