Anyone have any experiences with variances in terms of the "Contribution Room Available" as posted on the CRA website?
The website is giving me a contribution room of $5,500 (this year) + $5,000 (last year) saying I don't have any contributions in 2012, however I maximized my entire limit in each year that the TFSA was available to me.
If I was to put in $10,500 into my TFSA rather than the $5,500 I'm supposed to have, will CRA charge me, or do they only have records indicating I never made contributions last year?
Anyone else had this experience?
